Oil-fired Boilers
Oil-fired boilers combust oil in small droplets (for greater combustion potential over gas) which then heats up cold water using the hot gases. To work on an oil-fired boiler, an engineer will need to be a member of, and hold the relevant qualification from OFTEC (Oil Firing Technical Association for the Petroleum Industry). These boilers need additional maintenance and regular topping up of the oil fuel used. We are unable to carry out work on these boilers.
